I
would like to take this time to thank Sanjeev and the rest of the coaching
staff (Kevin,Wendy,Eric, and Elliot) for the most fun two weeks of my life.
I had the privilege to live with Sanjeev (my first cousin) for two weeks,
and now I know why he has the best programs in all of Ottawa . He is on
the field from 9 am to 9p.m. Everything was great about the camps from
the training to joking around with the coaches at lunch to swimming and
then to the best part of camp world cup. I myself am from Vancouver and
play hockey, I have tried soccer and never liked it but coming to Parmar
camps has made me see why billions of people play soccer and not every
camp can show a kid that. Sanj has done a great job in picking top notch
coaching staff in Eric, Wendy, and Kevin as they really made me feel at
home and were always there to help you with whatever you needed. It's
not often you come across awesome programs and coaching that Parmar sports
training offers and It's easy to see why they are #1.

"
I have attended many Parmar soccer clinics since I was 8 years old. The
training has always been competitive, creative, fun and promising. Sanjeev
is a great trainer who makes every training session different, and something
to look forward to. He is committed to making everyday as productive
as possible so that you get the most out of it. Sanjeev has helped me
with my speed and agility, strength and conditioning, ball handling skills,
and even my outlook on the game. It has definitely had an impact on both
my game, and my passion for the sport. Sanjeev knows how to take every
training session seriously, but he is always a down to earth person who
is so much fun to train with. Sanjeev is just living proof that the relationship
you make with your team mates and trainers is one of the most important.
Parmar Training has even become a family event. I look forward to it every
summer and winter." |

I
am writing to you in regard to your 2007/2008 Winter Strength and Conditioning
Program that both my son Cory, 14 years of age and my daughter Melissa
12 years of age participated in this past winter.
I want
to inform you that I thought these sessions were fantastic. Not only did
both my children get pushed to work really hard but also we saw instant
results in the fitness level and their ability to run faster. The sessions
were very professional and the knowledge of the coaches were top notch.
For
an example, the running coach in the first session explained posture and
the use of their hands/arms while running. Two of the parents on my son's
soccer team asked me where Cory picked up all his speed? I was shocked
myself as with one session Cory's running skills improved dramatically.
All the parents expressed that this was money well spent.
I asked
my son the same question and was surprised with his response; he said,
“Dad I've just been taught how to run properly and I finally have been
told what to do with my arms, I can't believe how much faster I am.” Both
my children continued to improve week after week.
As
for my daughter she as well with the guidance of the running coach paid
attention to posture and arms and showed so much improvement throughout
the entire program.
I
want to thank you for offering such a high level of all around physical
workout and top notch running training to these kids who will only benefit
in the years to come as athletes. |

I
would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your amazing work
with my daughter. Just two short years ago, you recognized that
she had the athletic abilities to go to the next level. Thanks to
your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm, Miranda has been able to accomplish
many of her goals including, making your Parmar +20 program, Region 5
team as an under age player, and this year, The Danone Nations Cup Team
for Eastern Canada. From day 1 you taught her to set goals for herself
and then go and achieve them.
As
a competitive athlete most of my life, it is easy for me to say that your
programs are by far the most innovative, intense and inspiring for children.
I have yet to see someone who displays as much passion for a sport as
you do for soccer and especially the kids you train. Your +20 program
is easily in a class of it's own. Simply, it is the best program for kid's
soccer development I have seen. Miranda has done evey program you
have and they all have helped to make her a better athlete, soccer player
and person.
I
know that Miranda looks forward to every session she has with you and
hopes that you will continue to help her improve, so she can reach all
of her goals!
On
behalf of Miranda and our Family, I would like to say THANKS and keep
up the Great Work! |

Elliot first started
with Sanjeev aged 7 . We quickly noticed rapid improvement with his
overall co-ordination, foot speed, balance and individual skills. Sanjeev introduced
Elliot to the importance of ball juggling or 'keep me up's" to help his
first touch and from only being able to initially do a few, Elliot's
own personal juggling record now stands close to 2,000. Through coaching
myself and watching Elliot's games I have been fortunate to watch hundreds
of young players locally and it amazes me how easy it still is to pick
out a player who has trained with Sanjeev on a regular basis. In my opinion
these fortunate players are quite clearly a step ahead of the majority
in terms of technical ability. What I find really refreshing is that Sanjeev
clearly recognizes the importance of putting individual player development
first and the local Ottawa soccer community is extremely fortunate to
have a such a talented coach at their disposal. I would say to any parent
or player who takes the game seriously, give Sanjeev a try and experience
the difference!

I
met Sanjeev when I played for the Ottawa Fury in the summer of 2006. He's
a pretty busy guy but always found time to train. We would meet up in
the mornings before the Fury sessions at night and train together, usually
with a couple guys or girls along with that he trained. It was fantastic.
Sanjeev was the best training partner! I was absolutely blown away by
his technical perfection and tried to convince him the rest of the summer
that he should be playing professionally somewhere. His dedication and
commitment to improvement and performance was inspiring. We would train
for hours and do technical work until it was right, although Sanjeev usually
got it the first time around. I had an awesome summer training with him
and really missed him the next year when I switched clubs. Not only is
he a fantastic trainer but he also has impecible character and is genuinely
caring. |

This is the fourth
year that Stephen has attended a Parmar “Speed and Agility”
session. It is incredible how every week there are new drills to learn,
new moves and fresh workouts. Each year Stephen has seen improvement in
his strength and speed directly related to these sessions.
The passion for soccer that Sanjeev brings along with his amazing soccer
skills has been a great example. He sees the potential in players and
has the ability to draw that out while making the drills fun and competitive.
Stephen truly enjoys each session and does not realize how hard he is
working and how much he is learning . We are lucky to have Sanjeev in
Ottawa!

In
May of 1997, devastated after losing in overtime of the BC High School
Provincials, a stranger came up to me and told me what a great player
he thought I was and how well he felt I had played. I didn't know his
name, but the time he took to do that left a deep impression on me, both
on my esteem as a player and inspired me to take the time to let others
know when I thought something positive, because of how good it made me
feel.
Ten years later, this face resurfaced, in the form of my assistant coach
for the Ottawa Fury, Sanjeev Parmar. Sanjeev's obvious passion for the
game and for teaching it, was evident every time our W League team worked
with him. Our whole team looked forward to his Tuesday night practices
and his innovative methods of teaching, his ability to have us work hard
but enjoy every minute and the creativity that he brought to each session.
A couple of times he brought his female youth players out and we were
blown away with their ability, again no doubt a credit to the work Sanjeev
had done with them.
I can say without a doubt he is one of the best coaches in Canada, and
anyone who has the ability to be coached by him is lucky. Also, as a peer
in the coaching world, his openness in sharing drills and ideas is rare
and I have benefitted immensely from his extensive knowledge. He is truly
a first class coach and person.

varied and extremely beneficial. His combination of natural candor with
the boys, limitless energy and excellent skills makes him an ideal motivator
for any age. The players love his sessions and don't seem to realize how
hard they are working. Sanjeev's dedication to the sport and to teaching
soccer as it should be taught is a great asset for this region to have.

Jaden
was the first to be introduced to the ‘Parmar experience” two years ago.
He attended a Parmar summer camp where he had a great deal of fun, received
inspirational coaching and developed invaluable confidence as a young
soccer player. Each evening he would come home from camp and tell us all
about the great day he had and show us all he had learnt. That winter
Jaden and Bianca attended the winter training programs. I have never experienced
such enthusiasm and dedication to any training program before. Bianca
would be all ready changed into her soccer kit and waiting with her water
bottles and cleets at the door when I returned home from work. Jaden felt
very privileged to be invited to the March Break Camp this year. He would
talk about nothing else all evening until he fell asleep. For this winter
all four of my children demand to attend the Parmar programs and learn
from Sanjeev.
My
children are infected by Sanjeev's energy, enthusiasm, creativity and
soccer skills. I as a parent admire his ability to connect with youth
of all ages and to show that hard work has it's rewards. I am delighted
that my children want to go to his session and want to learn and want
to produce results for which they are proud of. Thanks Sanjeev! |

I
am one of the lucky few in my second year of the +20 program. It is so
much fun to be with such a skilled and motivated group. Even more fun
to be with a coach who challenges us so much and is always ready to provide
positive feedback. All last winter I don't remember ever doing a drill
more than twice, always a new situation or challenge to overcome.
I have
also been able to attend camps at March Break the last couple of years
where Sanjeev brought in some great guest coaches to help. Ken was amazing;
I hope we get him back this year.
My
skills have improved greatly thanks to Sanjeev's training but it is in
my confidence that the biggest change has occurred. Now I love being encouraged
to take defenders on. I just know if I nutmeg that defender and blow in
on goal I am going to hear him screaming “Maaagggiiic” |

My

now. She has improved with every session under him. His youthful enthusiasm
is contagious. She strives to excell to please him and herself. She is
especially proud when someone asks her where she learn a certain move
or techique, and she relates it back to Sanjeev. He is able to relate
to
the younger athlete and able to pull out their desire, competitiveness
and skill, so well. He has brought Lauren to her current level and continues
to push her to strive to reach her full potential. His love for the game
and showmanship keep everyone involved intense, even through a cold wet

him and I saw a very rapid improvement with Elliot's overally movement,
co-ordination, ball skills and agility. Sanjeev's motivational and fun
approach was very influential in introducing Elliot to being comfortable
and confident with the ball through practising various drills / tricks
including juggling. From initially only being able to do one or two my

Hi
my name is Eduardo Sebrango , I'm a professional soccer player with the
Vancouver Whitecaps of the USL first division. I have known Sanjeev for
about 5 years now and he has always helped me in the off-season to be
sharp in pre-season training camp. After training under him in the off
season for many years, I would say that his dedication and knowledge of
preparing players to get fit is very high. I would recommend Sanjeev's
programs to any parent that wants his kids to become the best soccer player
possible. After working with him for so long, I have never seen him repeat
one drill, each and every practise is new and innovative. Obviously
this says a lot about how much thought and preperation he puts into preparing
his program. Sanjeev, I also would like to take the opportunity to thank
you for all your help during my off-season. |

I met Sanjeev 2 years ago at my first March
break camp. He was like no other coach – totally cool. Since then, I've
taken every opportunity available to me to work with him and his team
of coaches. They are ALL good players with a lot of experience and they
definitely know what they are talking about. Everything they tell me to
do to improve actually works…if I do it correctly of course! They give
me credit when I do something right and constructive criticism when something
needs to be corrected. Sanjeev teaches us something new at every session
– never the same old simple things over and over again. He can even make
boring passing drills fun! He finds a way to make it everything challenging
and rewarding. All in all, Sanjeev and his team are excellent role models.
They make me a better player than I could ever be without them. There's
nothing more encouraging to me than to hear Sanjeev tell me, “Maaaaaaagic!” |

Having
played for the Ottawa Wizards I had the opportunity to live with Sanjeev.
After a little time I became to notice how passionate and driven he was.
Each and every day he would come in to do extra training in the morning
before our evening sessions with the team. He would always inspire myself
and a few others to do the extra training with him. He was always interested
in helping each player become the best that they could be. I've been joining
in on Sanjeev's training sessions since 2002 and am now seeing the young
players he was working with who have had amazing improvement over these
years. These players now have skills I didn't have at their age because
I wasn't privileged enough to have this unbelievable, high-quality training.
Being
fortunate enough to have also played in many areas of Europe and South
America I compare Sanjeev's trainings to the high-quality youth training
camps held there. Sanjeev is very inovative with his activities, he hardly
does the same one twice, it keeps the players entertained and focused.
After
Sanjeev's training I noticed a improvement in my footwork, speed and a
stronger overall confidence in my playing. |

My
daughter was given the opportunity to attend a spring weekend training
at Kemptville College with her team under Sanjeev Parmar's guidance.
As coach for my daughter's team, I very pleased to have my team included
in his training session. The girls were given professional training which
was very structured, very educational, but very fun. While maintaining
a professional soccer education, Sanjeev was able to connect with each
individual player regardless of age. There was a mix of 10 and 11
year old girls who were taught skills that made their training intense
but very entertaining. As a coach I saw growth in my players in
the two days they were training. The experience was very positive
and also focused on team building through fun extracurricular activities.
My daughter was very sad to leave the camp and wanted to stay longer.
With the intensity of training, attention to detail, the camp was still
very exciting and though the girls learned a great deal, they were ready
to devour more knowledge.
I
would highly recommend this experience for any team and look forward to
the next opportunity for my daughter. |

March,
2007
My
daughter Kristi was invited to train with Sanjeev over the fall of 2006
winter of 2007. Immediately on the first night of training one could see
how the initiative and level of play were at an advanced level. There
was a a friendly welcoming atmosphere on arrival, but once training started
each night the program was all business with consistent serious effort
at drills, skills, communication and discipline. The drills and skill
development exercises were smooth and efficient, designed to increase
strength, reaction time, immediate strategic thinking and communication.
Sanjeev not only provided great conditioning exercises but also the encouragement
and motivation to the players to get results. I was really impressed with
the high calibre of training for strategy and game knowledge that was
a key part of program. More importantly there was equal treatment and
attention for every player coupled with great personal encouragement and
individualized training. Hard to accomplish but Sanjeev makes it seem
easy. Kristi tells me she enjoyed every session, she learned a tremendous
amount about soccer. Kristi needs constant challenge and thrives in a
competitive environment and in this program she was provided with 100
% of the challenge and stimulation that is a natural part of her make
up. |

Our younger son and daughter have attended Sanjeev's sessions
and camps for the past three years now. Both Thomas's and Meaghan's soccer
skills and fitness have improved notably every year, in large part
to these well run and imaginative programs. Still the most impressive
part for us is, after many years, how much both children look forward
to each week's sessions, a true testament to the fun they have while developing
as better athletes.

He took the time to help me out before I went down to Toronto for my provincial

the reason that I was chosen to try and made the Region 5 program (the

Sanjeev
has helped me become a better soccer player. He has been helping my team
improve for a couple years and I know everyone on my team has improved
a lot with his help. His training sessions are always fun; we play games
and work on different aspects of soccer but most of all we learn many
moves. I have learned so many different moves over the years with Sanjeev.
Sanjeev is very enthousiastic about soccer and it shows as he spends most
of his summer running camps and training sessions for many age groups.
He has been a big help for me as I am not very big for my age; but with
the skills Sanjeev has taught me, I can beat players who are much bigger
and stronger than me. This fall/winter I made the Region 5 team (the best
players in the Eastern Ontario Region). I believe that Sanjeev helped

SPRING - U19 girls Kanata Soccer Club
March,
2006
The
first time I met Sanjeev was at a week-long soccer camp with my team,
about 4 years ago. I could tell right off the bat that he knew his stuff.
He had the moves, let me tell you – he could beat all of us, every time.
I promised myself, then and there, that the day would come when I would
be able to stop him – I would figure out how the ball stuck to his feet
like magic and how, just when I was certain that I finally had him, he
would twist/flick – and I was left without the ball, stumped.
Since
then, I've taken Sanjeev's strength and agility program, as well as his
ball mastery program, numerous times. I go because Sanjeev's the best
there is – and I sincerely mean that. Not just because he's sickeningly
good at soccer, but because you can tell that he as well as everybody
who works with him, they really love what they do. They're always there
to clap when you've done something right, or take you aside and help you
when you've gotten it wrong, and, no matter what, they encourage you to
do things just a little bit better, a little bit faster. My personal fitness
level has gone way up, without a doubt.
My
little brother takes lessons from Sanjeev too, and he thinks Sanj's just
about the coolest guy ever. It must be doing something, because my brother's
gotten…well, good . Really good. As in, … (almost)… better than
me. He recently tried out for, and made, the Ottawa regional squad. At
home, my brother and I play around in the hallway with mini soccer balls,
usually trying to beat each other with the latest of Sanjeev's tricks.
It drives our mom absolutely crazy. I still can't beat Sanjeev.
But now, during a game, I'll get the ball and my feet will know exactly
what to do with it. Is it magic? No – it's those little things that Sanjeev's
had me practice over and over and over – first touch, look around, move
to space, know your options, communicate, don't forget that first touch…and
so on until these things seems as natural and as inherent to me as breathing.
So
maybe I still can't beat Sanjeev. But rest assured I'm workin' on it,
I'm workin' on it. ; ) |

"I
thought I was physically prepared for the university season and needed
the preseason training camp for some extra touches on the ball.
However, I soon found out otherwise when I met Sanjeev. The three days
of vigorous training was a well needed wake up call for an indication
of the hard work it would take to win a championshiop. Although the training
wasn't easy, Sanjeev had an enthusiastic way of instructing the program
that actually made working hard fun and rewarding at the end of they day.
It was a motiviational beginner to the beginning of our season." |
